One of the best sports clubs in the country, Popularly known as MK Sports owner of Water Football Club of Abuja at weekend organized a novelty match with City FC at the Maracana stadium of Water FC in the Lokogoma Area of the city to honour and mark the 70th birthday of leading real estate services provider an Executive Director and Co-founding Partner at Diya, Fatimilehin & Co, Chief Gboyega Fatimilehin.
The celebrant, Chief Fatimilehi, a real estate services provider with over 40 years of experience providing property agency, property management, valuation, and advisory services to institutions, individuals, and government with over 500 Nigerians working for him.
The match that coincided with two major events in the country, the Father’s Day and Sallah celebrations in the country add unspeakable colour and glamour to the game on Sunday where residents of the community trooped out in number, old and young to catch the fun rejoice with celebrant.
In the match played away team City FC showed their supremacy over Water FC by beating them 3 goals to nothing.
Speaking shortly after the Game, the Proprietor and Founder of the MK Sports Water Football Club of Abuja Nureni Makanjuola said, this novelty match is to honor and celebrate someone who has contributed immensely to the development of real estate in Nigeria and the rest of the world. It is a token of our appreciation to him and we are glad that this will go a long way in showing our love and support to the man who has always been there in terms of providing thousands of jobs for Nigerians.”
It will be recalled that through MK Sports, many young talents realize their dreams especially in football courtesy of the Grace of God through Mr. Nureni Makanjuola today, many are breadwinners because of the MK’s benevolence.
No wonder his club, Water FC, has produced exceptional players who have played for national teams including U-17, U-20, U-23, and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, because of his good heart.
