Makinde Reiterates Commitment To Provision Of Adequate Security

Oyo State Gov,  Seyi Makinde has reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing adequate security for residents of the state.

Makinde said this yesterday in Ibadan while hosting the Air Officer Commanding ,AOC, Logistics Command, Nigerian Air Force ,NAF, Ikeja, Lagos, AVM Kolade Ademuwagun.

He said that his government would strengthen partnership with the NAF and other security agencies toward improving the security of lives and property in the state.

He expressed appreciation to the NAF for its collaborative efforts and support for his administration since it came on board in 2019

The Governor, while reiterating the importance of a safe and secured environment for the progress of the state, promised to work closely with the military in ensuring the safety of Oyo State residents.

In his remarks, AVM Ademuwagun, acknowledged the governor’s efforts in maintaining peace and security in Oyo State.

Ademuwagun, while commending Makinde’s commitment to security and robust relationship with NAF, acknowledged Makinde’s act of generosity to NAF.

According to him, the gesture include donation of a parcel of land to NAF at Ajia, in Ona-Ara Local Government Area for an Air Force base.

He assured the governor of the Air Force’s readiness to continue supporting efforts of the state government in securing Oyo state.
