Association, Idealab Agency Ltd has emphasised the need for a vibrant partnership between it and the National Assembly.

Managing Director of the establishment, Emmanuel Aondoakaa, who made the appeal in a press conference at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja yesterday, stressed that the partnership would help to boost business between indigenous consumers and producers of goods and services.

The group also informed that developing a viable business relationship remains necessary, while  patronising local goods and services remain a priority.

According to Aondoakaa, “Our agency is looking forward to a robust partnership for the purpose of disbursement of grants, aid, scholarships, market access, employment placements and loan programme facilitation among others with special digital skills training.

“This partnership has become necessary because of the current realities in the economy where so many Nigerians are facing severe difficulties; with rising inflation, hunger, unemployment, loss of jobs, business closures, inability to pay school fees and lack of access for local producers of goods and services with more living or falling below the poverty line, as a

result of the total removal of fuel subsidy.”

He explained that with the enormous challenges the people are currently facing, as well as the agonising pain, “the federal government in collaboration with the World Bank has put up intervention programmes to mitigate these challenges and even create a more prosperous future for all Nigerians, especially youths and women through investment in digital economy and creative enterprise with

the Idealab programme (known as Idealab Agency Ltd).”

According to the organisation, one of such intervention programmes is the federal government’s talent export

Initiative where ordinary Nigerians can be trained on high level digital skills to tap into the globalisation economy by living in Nigeria and working remotely for interventional brands and earning as much as N10 million monthly or may decide to travel abroad through direct employment with the World Bank and other partner nations/multinationals by acquiring special skills sets through Idealab Agency with 100 percent fully funded sponsorship.

The agency also explained some of its available packages such as vocational and financial empowerment, adding that the focus of the project is on women and youths across the country.

Other fields are catering, tailoring, soap making and animal husbandry.

He appealed to everyone in the humanitarian subsector to access adequate information on humanitarian operations and grant orientation through skills acquisition and innovations to change the narrative and harsh economic realities.
