Lobi Stars FC To Witness Massive Changes Ahead Of 2021/2022 Soccer Season

The management of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, has appealed to stakeholders and supporters as well as everyone involved in the round leather game to exercise patience as the new management is set to reposition the club at the end of the league for better performance.


Chairman of the Club, Mr. Tama Aondofa, who was reacting to the unceremonious exit of Lobi Stars FC from the Aiteo cup competition when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Bayelsa United, said the measure became necessary to calm the nerves of the club’s teaming supporters.

The Vice Chairman’s reaction which was contained in a statement signed by the club’s head of media, Mr. Emmanuel Uja, and made available to AljazirahNigeria Friday, in Makurdi, also revealed that despite the unimpressive performance, the new management has resolved to work with the existing players until the end of the 2020/2021,NPFL season which is about 5 matches away, pointing out that massive changes would be introduced into the team.

While assuring stakeholders and supporters that management of Lobi Stars will do everything possible to improve performance in the remaining matches to end the National Professional League on a sound note, “we want to appeal to everyone involved in football to be patient with the new management”.

He further assured fans of Lobi Stars that changes would also be made soon at the end of the league to reposition the club for better performance in the 2021/2022 NPLF season, calling for understanding.
