A lawmaker representing Buruku Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sakav Dzua Iyortyom has tasked the minister of Education on provision of basic social infrastructures across schools in the country.
The lawmaker who gave the charged yesterday while speaking with some reporters in his office at National Assembly also promised his readiness to empower his constituents at several areas of human endevours.
Speaking about his birthday celebration, the lawmaker commended the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abbas for his pragmatic leadership style in the House adding that the speakers open door leadership style has brought more transparency in the 10th House.
The lawmaker who was full of praises to God for sparing his life in the wicked world explained that he is the happiest person as he had overcome and overturned several odeals and challenges to become a lawmaker.
He explained further’ As I’m sitting here I just feel like breakdancing because God has provided me the opportunity to be here. God has provided me the opportunity to come to this sinful work”.
According to Him, God has guided me up to this point and up to this year, and today he has added one more year to me”.
While commending his party leaders and the constituents for their support, the lawmaker acknowledged that without their regular prayers and support, he would not have been in the House of Representatives.
He also thanked the secretary to the government of the Federation,Senator George Akume whom he informed is also a leader of his party.
He said “Iam grateful to my my party leader who double as the secretary of the government of the Federation. I thank him so much for what he has been doing for me for the past years.
He noted that the Speaker of the House has brought a lot of unity in this house adding that they are ready to upported him to ensure the success of the Paliament.
“I want to bring a lot of improvements on infrastructure, education experts would like to bring in I also like the people to enjoy the dividends of democracy, because a lot of them what they benefit is what we pull to their own communities, like the infrastructures, bore holes as well as other education materials to ensure success of universal basic education.
“Our childre cannot do well in school without good environment to learn”.
