Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong has congratulated former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi on his 60th birthday.
Lalong joined the family, friends, associates and well wishers of the former Rivers State governor to celebrate him as he marks his diamond jubilee.
According to him, Amaechi continues to demonstrate passion and commitment to the development of Nigeria having served in various capacities where he demonstrated enormous patriotism and faith in the Nigerian project.
He recalls that the former ninister was at various times commissioner, speaker of Rivers House of Assembly, governor and minister of the Federal Republic where he contributed his quota in developing his state and the nation.
Lalong acknowledges the spirit of generosity, patience, honesty, compassion and boldness which Amaechi personifies and continues to exhibit over the years.
He wishes him many more years of good health, God’s blessings and divine protection as he serves humanity and Nigeria.
