The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria said it has received the news of the payment of N19.

33bn into the account of the Central Bank of Nigeria with mix feelings.

According to the group, “On one are happy that the conscienceless leaders who fixed the money in an interest yielding account didn’t succeed in their evil against the people of Kogi; while on the other hand, we are particularly sad that nobody is facing the law for the wickedness meted on the long suffering Kogi workers.

“Many who couldn’t endure the embarrassment of not being able to meet their families needs opted to commit suicide. Their blood while be asked from the hands of those involved in this Money Heist.

“The Council wishes to commend the EFCC for deploying its Eagle in locating the humongous funds in Sterling Bank.

“The Council wishes to further call on the EFCC track the over 666m that developed wings and left the account, those involved in laundering the money should be arraigned without delay”.

The Council said it has gathered that the Chairman of the EFCC is under tremendous pressure to discontinue the Court Case against Governor Yahaya Bello and the little angels in his Cabinet.

“We want to counsel him to keep his fate with the people and write his name in gold by bringing the robbers of Kogi wealth to justice, as we will ensure that this case won’t be thrown in the Dustbin like other graft cases.

“Those who shared in the accrued Profit from the fixed amount and the unaccounted 666M will certainly cough it out and have their place in any of the Newly Constructed Prisons by the President Buhari Led Administration”.
