Kano State House of Assembly has screened Ibrahim Adamu, one of the commissioner-nominees presented to it by Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf.
The nominee, who previously served as the managing director of Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority, KNUPDA, was screened during plenary on Wednesday.
Responding to questions from the lawmakers, Adamu emphasised the need for renewed commitment to uphold the master plan for urban and rural communities.
He expressed appreciation to the Assembly for their confidence in him.
Adamu pledged to give his utmost dedication to any responsibility entrusted to him by Governor Kabir-Yusuf.
Earlier, Speaker Jibril Falgore encouraged the nominee to build on his solid track record.
Falgore wished him well in his new role should he be made a commissioner. (NAN)
