JUST IN: Idris Wada, ex-Kogi gov, in EFCC custody over 23bn Diezani bribe

Idris Wada, former governor of Kogi state, is currently at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.
AljazirahNigeria learnt that the former governor is being grilled over a N500 million he allegedly collected from Diezani Alison-Madueke, former minister of petroleum resources.
“He has been in custody of the anti-graft agency since 12 noon,” the source said.
