Jigawa State Judicial Service Commission, JSC, has approved the appointment of 19 new Shariah Court judges.
This was contained in a statement signed by the commission’s Director of Protocol and Publicity, Mr Abbas Wangara, in Dutse, on Saturday.
Wangara also quoted the Secretary of the commission, Mr Auwal Dan’azumi, as saying that JSC also promoted 157 staff.
The statement announced the appointment of Nazir Habu as Acting Director of Finance and Supply of the High Court of Justice after the retirement of the former director who attained 35 years of service. (NAN)
