It Will Be  Shameful If Nigeria  Misses World Cup Again –  Rohr

Former coach of  the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has said it will be shameful for the country to miss the World Cup again.

Rohr qualified the Super Eagles for the playoff round in 2022 World Cup qualifier before he was sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Nigeria ended up missing the mundial after a defeat to the Black Stars of Ghana.

The 3-time African champions are not doing well in the ongoing 2026 World Cup qualifier and Rohr masterminds their defeat to the Cheetahs of Benin.

“If they miss another one, for such a football country with the best players in Africa, it would be a little bit shameful.

“So I think the players will do everything to go there ( World Cup), and also the Federation and the staff.

But now, of course they must be realistic and say that it’s only 3 points in 4 games”, he said.
