
Super Eagles and Club Brugge Midfielder Raphael Onyedika Nwadike has expressed his happiness and honor to Nigerians to be part of the squad that played Sao Tome And Principe at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in the city of Uyo.
The Midfielder who played 8Mins of the last qualification encounter against Sao Tome And Principe got his first call up to the Super Eagles for the first time of his career in 2022.
Onyedika said “I felt really honored to see sports lovers very happy watching Super Eagles, It was a very nice atmosphere in Uyo, and i enjoyed it”.
The Imo State born Midfielder has appeared in every of the side’s five First Division A matches 2023/2024, he has a nice playing time by starting all the five matches.
The last First Division A game that Onyedika played was on September 3 for Club Brugge versus Gent, he played the full 90 minutes during the 2-1 defeat.
Club Brugge occupy fourth in the standings with 10 points and next to face a home clash against Sporting Charleroi in First Division A action on September 16 he also played 31 First Division A games last season for Club Brugge.
Prior to his joining Club Brugge in August 2022, he made total number of 37 league appearances at Midtjylland, scored two goals and two assists.
Onyedika is so confident that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will do well and shine like a diamond in come November 2023 World Cup Qualification.
