Ibrahim Gifts N11m ‘Easter Meals’ To 220 Women In Ondo

Senator representing Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim has disbursed N11 million as ‘Easter meals’ to 220 women in his senatorial district.

Ibrahim, currently representing the Senate at the ancillary meeting of the International Monetary Fund, IMF, and World Bank in Washington DC, United States of America, made the announcement in a statement, Wednesday. 

The lawmaker explained that the women, who were selected randomly across all his political WhatsApp platforms, would receive N50,000 each.

The senator, who displayed the names and account details of the 220 beneficiaries, promised that they would begin to receive alert of N50,000 each from Wednesday.

Ibrahim emphasised that the money was for Easter meals, promising that an empowerment programme for all constituents would soon be launched.

“My dear good women in some of our platforms in Ondo South, Happy Easter again and over again, I promise to cover the Easter meals.

“If your name is on the list below, please access N50,000 for Easter. My lovely brothers, Juwon and C – banking are to send the money to you from today.

“220 people will benefit from N11 million, It is just a mere gift. An empowerment programme will come soon,” Ibrahim said. (NAN)
