I Spent 2 Days Without Food – Rescued Kidnapped Victim

A kidnapped victim rescued by the Zamfara State Police Command, Mudassiru Malan revealed that he was given one spoon of millet and some leaves as food by his captors in each of the six weeks he has spent in captivity.


The Command’s PPRO SP Muhammad Shehu said Malan’s rescue was in view of the ongoing assault on identified bandits location’s in the state.

The extensive search and rescue of abducted victims by the Police operatives in Collaboration with other security agencies and Vigilante groups across the state ensure the return and reuniting of many victims with their families.

The Police Tactical Operatives in Conjunction with the Vigilante deployed along Maradun Kaura Namoda axis succeeded in the rescue of Malan of whom is a resident of Sabon garin Rini Village in Bakura LGA. 

The victim was rescued safely by the Police without any injury sustained by either the victim or the security forces.

The Commissioner of Police Ayuba Elkanah while handling over the rescued victim to Bakura Local Government Sole Administrator assured the People of the State that the Police and other sister security agencies will sustain the ongoing onslaught against the activities of recalcitrant bandits and other criminal elements in the State. 

El-Kanah assured that other abducted victims that are currently in captivity at various locations are rescued and reunited with their families.
