Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has shared a nostalgic throwback to her early acting days, revealing that she used to borrow outfits from fellow actress Sikiratu Sindodo to look stylish on screen.
In a candid interview, the award-winning actress admitted that before fame and fortune, she struggled to afford trendy clothes for her movie roles. “Back then, I wanted to look classy in films, but I didn’t have the wardrobe for it. Sikiratu Sindodo always came through for me,” she said, laughing.
Now one of Nollywood’s biggest names, Funke Akindele’s story is a testament to perseverance and growth.
From borrowing clothes to becoming a multi-award-winning actress, director, and box office queen, she continues to inspire many. “No matter how tough it gets, never stop pushing,” she advised young actors.
