Hon. Chidi Nwogu Congratulates Sen. Ndubueze on Establishment of Federal University, Okigwe

A former Member of the House of Representatives and recently appointed Council Member of the African Aviation and Aerospace University, Abuja, Hon. Chidi Nwogu, has congratulated Senator (Engr.) Patrick Chiwuba Ndubueze—fondly known as “Ndi-Okigwe”—as well as the entire people of Imo State on the recent signing into law of the bill establishing the Federal University, Okigwe.

The bill, sponsored by Senator Ndubueze, was recently signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, marking a major milestone for education and development in the South East.

Hon. Nwogu, a close ally of Senator Ndubueze and one of the key stakeholders who supported the realization of this historic feat, expressed heartfelt appreciation to those whose roles were instrumental in bringing the vision to life.

He specifically commended the Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio; Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodinma; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu; and Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, for their unwavering support and commitment to this achievement.

He further praised Senator Ndubueze’s unwavering passion, tireless advocacy, and resolute dedication in championing causes of interest to the Okigwe Senatorial District, noting that the establishment of the university is a monumental gift to current and future generations.
