Gov. Yusuf Lauds Students’ Exceptional Performance In India

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has commended the exceptional performance of the indigenes of the state studying in India under its foreign scholarship programme.

Yusuf  commended the students’ outstanding academic performance, saying that their success demonstrated the benefits of investing in education.

This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Wednesday.

During his visit to Sharjah University in India, Governor Yusuf expressed pride in the students’ dedication and accomplishments

During his visit to Sharjah University in India,  Yusuf extolled the students’ dedication and accomplishments.

He emphasised that the resources allocated to the scholarship programme were wisely spent as the students had surpassed all expectations with their remarkable academic results.

Yusuf said,”The present administration has shown unwavering commitment to advancing education, recognising its role in nurturing young talents and driving societal growth and development.

”The Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme, which sponsored over 400 students to study in Uganda and India, is a testament to this commitment”.

Yusuf’s visit to the students in India served as an inspiration for them to strive for academic excellence.

It also provided an opportunity for the governor to conduct an on-the-spot assessment aimed at enhancing preparations for the next set of beneficiaries under the scholarship programme.
