“Kokona LGA is actually one local government area that does not have the position of a permanent secretary here in the state. Just yesterday I received a report of who and who is qualified to be permanent secretary in the state and luckily enough I have seen few that have qualifed from Kokona LGA.

“So, in a few days from now you will see the permanent secretary that will represent Kokona LGA”he said.

According to him, he decided to attend the said national festival despite his tired schedules due to the respect he has for some illustrious sons of Gwandara with special emphasis to his predicessor Sen. Umaru Tanko Al Makura, Dr. John Mamman the state APC Chairman and their traditional rulers whom he described their efforts geared towards developing their respective chiefdoms and the state as very vital.

He urged the GWADECA national body to always identify with one another all times in order to remain focus with their endeavors and to also abide by the nation’s rules and regulations.

This is because,we ultimately have no choice but to love one another as Gwandara people working together for the development of our selves, our states and the nation at large” Mamman said.

In his speech Rt. Hon. Barr. Bawa Abdullahi Wuse  the speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly who also doubles as the chairman of the occasion said “Perhaps, negative comments that tried to portray that Gwandara people those not like each other should be disputed, but i think we most make positive rescue to this and we most close the gaps that was been lacking especially in the education aspect.

“We have the comperative  advantage as Gwandara people to become the leading ethnic nationality to do more for the people of Nigeria our great nation. We hold people alot and am sure we are already doing a lot as one entity and together we all join hands to make this nation forward’, the Speaker stated
