Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo has submitted the names of six commissioner-nominees to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees’ names were forwarded in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Umar Musa Ikhilor
The letter reads: “At the instance of the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, I write to forward for your consideration and confirmation, the underlisted names as commissioner- designates.”
The nominees are Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu, Washington Osa Osifo, Dr Paddy Iyamu, Sir Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai, and Marie Olabisi Idaomi.
AljazirahNigeria recalls that Okpebholo had previously appointed two commissioners on assumption of office.
