Gombe State Commissioner of Police, Bello Yahaya has highlighted the importance of collaboration among security agencies in tackling the complex challenges facing the state.

Yahaya made this known when he visited the State Commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Gyama Gyawiya.

Yahaya noted that the visit signified a renewed commitment to foster synergy between the two key security agencies in the state.

Emphasising that no single agency could effectively address security concerns alone, he said “it is through cooperation and mutual understanding that we can achieve our mandates and ensure the safety of our citizens.”

In response, Commandant Gyawiya commended the  commissioner for prioritising collaboration, and assured him of  NSCDC’s readiness to work closely with the police to promote peace and security in the state.

The meeting sets the stage for improved cooperation between the police  and  NSCDC, underlining their shared dedication to safeguard lives and property in Gombe State.
