Nollywood star Funke Akindele recently addressed a fan’s cheeky question about her plans to purchase a Lamborghini, a query seemingly inspired by the ongoing controversy involving singer Burna Boy and socialite Sophia Egbueje.
During a live Snapchat session, a fan identified as @Adekunle asked Akindele, “When are you buying a Lamborghini?” The actress, visibly irked, retorted, “Is everything that is funny to you people, Abi? I will block you. You guys want to use everything to trend and bring to other people’s page.”
This exchange comes in the wake of allegations by Sophia Egbueje, who accused Burna Boy of reneging on a promise to gift her a Lamborghini in exchange for intimate relations. The scandal has sparked diverse reactions from celebrities like Daddy Freeze, actress Angela Okorie, and singer Portable, among others on social media.
