Fresh allegations have emerged against the embattled President of the Federation of Cameroon Football ( FECAFOOT) Samuel Eto’o.
Former Barcelona attacker faced the investigative panel of the African football governing body over a 3-count charge.
The outcome of the investigation is yet to be officially revealed but Eto’o has instructed his lawyers to file a case against the football body.
On Tuesday, the Amateur Football Clubs Association (AFCA) in Cameroon said they have obtained proof of dual citizenship of Eto’o.
Eto’o would have obtained Spanish citizenship more than fifteen years ago when he was playing there which implies that he can’t stand for the FA Presidency in Cameroon because of his dual nationality.
More than fifty presidents of this AFCA have informed the Ethics Committee of the Cameroonian FA to immediately let Eto’o step down from his position.
