Speaking at the event at the weekend, Chairman of the foundation, Amir  Lamido highlighted the importance of providing opportunities for visually impaired individuals to pursue education and skills development.

This programme aims to equip the girls with skills that will foster self-reliance and financial independence.

The event also marked the launch of the foundation’s annual Iftar Initiative, a programme designed to provide daily support to vulnerable communities throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Zakah and Waqf Foundation expressed gratitude to donors who have supported its efforts and called for continued contributions to sustain and expand these impactful programmes.
