Forum Abandons Marafa For Matawalle’s Good Governance

Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle was overwhelmed yesterday by a tumultous crowd that visited him under the umbrella of Marafa Youth Ambassadors to declare their unalloyed support for him and complete dissociation from their former camp and leader, former Senator Kabir Marafa.

Gov. Matawalle while receiving the unexpected visitors said, he has radically maintained a level playing ground for all political parties and players in the state so as to ensure that politics and politicking are done without bitterness, intimidation or harrassment by anyone or group against anyone or group.

He expressed happiness that it was the realization of these facts coupled with the ways he is running his administration that has made him and his leadership style attractive to followers and supporters of other political parties who have continued to join him by the day.

The Barden Hausa also noted that he is particularly happy that thousands of his admirers that were with those who refuse to choose the path of peace are also realizing his good intentions and abandoning their political leaders to join in his unity fashioned leadership.

He thanked them for joining him pointing out that they will continue to be regarded and treated as good party members like all others and that his leadership and the APC in the state will continue to grow stronger under one united house and leadership.

Earlier, State Chairman of the self disbanded Marafa Youth Ambassadors, Ahmed Ibrahim Aliyu who led thousands of his members to the governor, thanked Matawalle for receiving them at such a short notice describing the act as the governor’s mantra of politics without bitterness.

He said their decision to abandon their former political leader and former Senator Kabiru  Garba Marafa for Governor Matawalle was in realization of the good intentions and good governance style exhibited by the Barden Hausa.

The youth leader announced that they left their political godfather in appreciation of Matawalle’s fight against insecurity and the effort of his administration to give meaning to the lives of the youths of the state through job opportunities and self reliance.

The event was attended by the Speaker Zamfara state House of Assembly Alhaji Nasiru Magarya, Chief of Staff Government House Malam Suleiman Ibrahim, State Head of service Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Gayari, Commissioners of finance and special Duties Alhaji Sufiyanu Bashir Yuguda and Alhaji Abdul Aziz Ahmed Nahuche and other senior Government officials.
