The Flying Eagles ramped up their preparations for the upcoming Africa U-20 Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a focused training session at the Jewel Sports City training ground in Cairo on Wednesday evening.
The session, which began at 6:00 pm local time (5:00 pm Nigerian time), came just a day after their friendly match against Egypt’s U-20 team, the Young Pharaohs. It lasted for 90 minutes and was designed to sharpen tactical awareness, improve team cohesion, and fine-tune strategic play.
All 24 players in camp participated fully in the session, demonstrating high intensity and focus under the guidance of the coaching crew.
The team is scheduled to continue their training on Thursday evening as they build momentum for their crucial AFCON opener against Tunisia on May 1.
