The Federal Ministry of Aviation is organizing the Nigeria International Airshow, a 3-day event in April 2025, to promote Africa’s aviation industry and drive economic growth.
The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo said the Federal Ministry of Aviation is gearing up to showcase the Nigeria International Airshow, a 3-day biennial conference and airshow aimed at stimulating aviation as a positive tool for economic development in Africa.
The minister informed that the event will bring together top industry stakeholders, investors, regulators, and government bodies to share ideas, experiences, and challenges, with the goal of fostering intra-African trade, tourism, and investment.
According to him, “this event promises to be a game-changer for Nigeria’s aviation industry, and I’m excited to see the impact it will have on the country’s economic development”.
He hinted that the objectives is to promote African Continental Free Trade Area and Single African Air Transport Market, unlock Nigeria’s aviation potential and showcase infrastructure, foster collaboration and investment in aviation infrastructure development, enhance economic activities, job creation, and tourism.
He explained that Nigeria International Airshow is set to promote the country’s aviation potential, economic activities, and infrastructure development, adding by showcasing the airports and aviation infrastructure, the event aims to attract investors, collaborators, and stakeholders to join hands with Nigeria.
He therefore called on stakeholders, media, friends, and partners to join hands with the Ministry to ensure a successful Nigeria International Airshow.
He noted that Nigeria’s aviation industry has vast potential for growth, saying collaboration and investment are crucial for infrastructure development.
“We want to run a one trillion dollar economy. This government is headed there. The tough decisions taken will stay us in that direction.”
This event promises to be a game-changer for Nigeria’s aviation industry and the African continent.
The event is scheduled to take place in April next year and will be a powerful platform to advance Nigeria’s aviation efforts.
