Committee set up by the FCT FA to investigate issues incidents that occurred before and after the November 30, by-election, have recommend expulsion for coach Luke Olaiya of Like-minds FC, and indefinite suspension for Meshach Olatunji of the same club.
The coaches were punished following following investigation by the committee, after the role they played during the November 30th FCT FA By-election to fill the vacant position of the 1st vice-chairman.
Luke Olaiya was caught by security operatives with a knife at the venue of.the election, following earlier threats he and his principal Babatunde Bucknor made on the life of FA Secretary Haruna Ilerika.
Meshach Olatunji was sanctionted with an indefinite suspension for similar offence. Both coaches as affiliate of Babatunde Bucknor, a board member of the FCT FA who has also been recommended for indefinite suspension following his display before and after the election which is contested and lost to Alhaji Salihu Kolo.
In a letter signed by the secretary of the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, Barrister Jimmy Kadiri, the sanctioned individuals failed to appear before the investigative panel to show up to defend themselves neither did they give a tangible reasons.
