Executive Chairman of Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State, Muhammad Mairami has called on communities in the local government to go back to the farm as the rainy season commences.

Mairami, who made the call during an interview with journalists shortly after swearing in the newly elected councillors, urged the people to put heads together to develop the local government through farming.

He said the people of Nguru have experience in farming and therefore, should pay more attention on what they know best.

Urging the people to continue to live in peace with one another, Mairami solicited the support and cooperation of the councillors to work towards the development of the local government.

He also urged youths to give their maximum support to Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration and also pray for him to complete his tenure successfully.

He appealed to workers for support in developing the local government area.

“I am in dire need of your support and cooperation to succeed.

“We must work together to prove ourselves worthy servants of the state, this is our regime, we have to work hard and produce results,” Mairami said.

The council boss also urged the workers to extend the same support and cooperation given to him during his swearing in to the administration for the desired growth and development of the council.
