A One-Year Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service was held in honour of the late Mrs. Ruth Olanihun Dare at Ola-Oluwa Baptist Church, Randa Area, Ogbomoso.
Mama Ruth Dare peacefully passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 92.
She was the beloved mother of Chief Sunday Akin Dare, CON, FNIS, former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, who currently serves as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, and holds the esteemed title of Agbaakin of Ogbomoso Land.
The well-attended service brought together family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate and reflect on the impactful life and legacy of Mama Dare.
