Ex-Konga CEO, Imudia Commits Suicide  In Lagos

Date:

Former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, one of Nigeria’s foremost e-commerce company, Nick Imudia has committed suicide.

Until his death on Tuesday, Imudia was the Chief Executive Officer of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions.

According to reports, the Delta State-born business mogul took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his Lekki apartment.

It was gathered that he had called his United States-based brother to instruct him on how to distribute his wealth should anything happen to him, before he eventually jumped from the building.

He was also said to have reached out to his daughter from a previous relationship, telling her he would always be there for her and that she only needed “to look in the sky” to see him.

Imudia hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

It was learnt that his marriage to the mother of his young daughter ended due to irreconcilable differences.

No information has been gathered on the reason for taking his life.
