Pastor Kayode Arigbede of Liberty Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church has emphasized that encountering God is crucial for overcoming life’s challenges, particularly in the face of sickness, disease, and economic difficulties.

Pastor Kayode disclosed this in Abuja to mark covenant day of encounter with the theme ‘Manifesting Glory through Healing and Divine Health organised by the church.

According to Pastor Arigbede, as the world grapples with various problems, God’s presence offers a safe haven for those who seek Him.

“In a world grappling with sickness, disease, and economic difficulties, encountering God is crucial for survival and triumph”

He urged people to turn to God, seeking divine healing, deliverance, and protection in these trying times.

Pastor Arigbede emphasized that as the end times approach, the Bible foretells increasing difficulties, but God offers a safe haven for those who dwell in His presence.

“Our message is clear: in these trying times, Nigerians and people worldwide need a divine encounter. We encourage everyone to seek God, to hold onto Him, and to trust in His power to heal, deliver, and prosper. While we strive to do our part, we must ultimately rely on God’s sovereignty. By seeking Him, we can navigate life’s challenges with faith and confidence, knowing that He will come through for us.”

“Today marks a special covenant day of encounter as we conclude the month of May, themed ‘Manifesting Glory through Healing and Divine Health.’ As we gather on this last Sabbath of the month, we recognize the Sabbath as a perpetual covenant between God and His people, a symbol of His enduring presence and power.

“We’ve witnessed the manifestation of God’s healing and deliverance in our midst, with many receiving physical and spiritual restoration”.

The Praise Team leader of Liberty Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bimpe Falade shared that the “Encountering God” program was an awesome initiative. With Moses Bliss in attendance, the team felt that it was essential to bring people together to praise and celebrate God amidst the challenges and uncertainties of life.

According to her, the church recognized the need for people to find peace and solace in God, and the program aimed to provide a platform for that. By inviting Moses Bliss to minister, the church sought to create an atmosphere of worship, celebration, and encounter with God’s presence, allowing people to experience peace and hope despite the difficulties they face.

Folake Akifewa, a member of Liberty Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church, shared her uplifting experience, saying, ‘Today has been an awesome time in the presence of the Lord. Everything came together perfectly, with praise and worship flowing freely. I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. I don’t want the day to end, but I’m blessing God because I’ve received my miracle. The anointing was palpable, and I’m grateful for the encounter with God.

Also, Pastor Tunde Olaigbe of Liberty Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church said, ‘In the midst of global challenges, panic, hunger, and sickness, we’ve come together to celebrate the Day of Encounter with God. And truly, God has been encountering us in remarkable ways. We’ve witnessed healing, deliverance, and freedom. Despite the turmoil in the world, God’s presence has been palpable, bringing hope and transformation to our lives.’
