Tolu Bankole, National Leader of Persons with Disabilities PWDs in the All Progressives Congress APC, extends heartfelt greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Bankole described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred time for reflection on the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion virtues embodied by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“Eid-el-Kabir is more than a celebration; it is a solemn call to renew our faith, submit to God’s will, and show unwavering compassion. As we observe this important festival, I urge all Nigerians to embody these principles, especially in these trying yet hopeful times,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of national unity, mutual respect, and care for the vulnerable including persons with disabilities, widows, orphans, and the poor as a measure of our collective strength.
“The true spirit of Eid lies in reaching out and lifting others. Let us build an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of status or ability, is valued and supported,” Aare Bankole urged.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its ongoing reforms aimed at economic recovery and national security, calling on citizens to remain prayerful, patient, and positively engaged.
“May this season rekindle our hope in a more inclusive Nigeria a country where no one is left behind and every citizen lives with dignity and purpose,” he concluded.
Bankole prayed for peaceful celebrations, divine protection, and enduring prosperity for all Nigerians, wishing the Muslim Ummah a joyful and meaningful Eid.
