Eid-El Kabir: Kebbi Police Assures Residents Of Public Safety

The Kebbi State Police Command has assured the public of its sustained efforts to improve public safety and security before, during, and after this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebrations. The command has charged all area commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and tactical commanders to ensure visibility policing and aggressive patrols in their respective areas of responsibilities.

In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Abubakar, the command extended its warm wishes to all Muslim faithfuls for a blissful Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration. The command urged the people of the state to use this period for sober reflection and to offer prayers for the peace and progress of the state and the nation at large.

The command also called on religious leaders, worshippers, and residents of the state to cooperate with the police and other security agencies, as adequate security arrangements have been put in place to guarantee a hitch-free celebration in the state.

Furthermore, all area commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders have been directed to dominate the state with overt and covert security deployments to safeguard the lives and properties of the peace-loving people of Kebbi State. The command also emphasized the need for adequate security coverage at all worship and recreational centers.

The statement warned troublemakers with evil intentions to disturb the celebrations to stay away from the state or face the full wrath of the law. The command assured the public that measures have been put in place to ensure a safe and secure environment for the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.

The Kebbi State Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and security in the state and urged the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

The command’s proactive measures and assurances have been welcomed by the residents of Kebbi State, who are looking forward to celebrating Eid-El-Kabir in a safe and secure environment.
