The Deputy Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedu Onah, has charged musicians to always use thier respective musical outfit in promotion of unit and peace in the state.
Onah, made stated this on Sunday at the Assembly Complex, in Abakiliki while addressing members of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria Ohaukwu LG Chapter who visited him in his office..
The lawmaker pointed out that the importance of musicians in any society cannot be over emphasized as such appealed to members of the Association to use thier God given talents in promoting unity among Ohaukwu People and the entire State respectively.
The legislature who was given credit for his philanthropic and humanitarian Service thanked the Association for Identifying with him as one of thier members.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Ndubisi Umeh and a Stakeholder of the Association, Comrade Isaac Oseh appreciated the Deputy Speaker for the warm reception and for having set a good example which according to them led to his emergence as the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly.
Similarly, the Deputy Speaker equally received members of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria Ebonyi State Chapter where he enjoined them to discharged their duties diligently to justify thier employment in the Assembly.
Earlier, the Chairman of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria Ebonyi State Chapter, Comrade Regina Oshibe said they came to congratulate the Deputy Speaker for his reelection into the hallowed chamber and pledged their total support for him.
