…Charges Him On Progressive Leadership
The Zinariyan Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has congratulated the governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Court of Appeal.
It would be recalled that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka had petitioned Ododo over an alleged forgery of documents submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
But the appellate court in its judgement on Thursday, held that Ajaka failed to prove the allegation challenging Ododo’s victory at the November 11, 2023 governorship election beyond reasonable doubt.
Dr Aliyu, in a congratulatory statement made available to AljaziraNigeria, said, “Warmest congratulations on your achievement victory at the Appeal Court.
“May this further imbue you with the visionary leadership and dedication deserving of your responsibility. May this victory be a catalyst for even greater achievements and progress for Kogi State under your leadership.”
