Renowned Nigerian comedian and actor, Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond, popularly known as Destalker, has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Estam University in Benin.
The conferment took place during the university’s recent matriculation and convocation ceremony, themed “Adapting to a Changing World: The Role of Building Your Legacy.”
This prestigious honor recognizes Destalker’s significant contributions to the entertainment industry, his entrepreneurial achievements, and his dedication to mentoring emerging talents.
Since relocating to Lagos in 2008, Destalker has risen to prominence through his unique blend of humor and social commentary, performing at major events both nationally and internationally.
In addition to Destalker, the university also honoured Atomon Osasere Boniface with an honorary doctorate degree during the ceremony.
The event celebrated the accomplishments of distinguished individuals and marked a significant milestone in recognizing contributions to society and the arts.
