Delta Cabinet Reshuffle: Aniagwu Takes Over Information, Works, Osuoza To Special Duties

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori on Saturday, in a minor cabinet reshuffle, directed Mr Charles Aniagwu to take over the supervision of the Ministries of Information and that of Works ,Rural and Riverine.

The Governor also directed that Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza, the Commissioner for Information, to take charge of Special Duties. 

Aniagwu, who was the immediate past Commissioner for Information under former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, was reappointed by the incumbent to serve as the Commissioner for Works ,Rural and Riverine.

Also Osuoza, who served as the state publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was appointed by the incumbent as Commissioner for Information.

A state government official who pleaded anonymity confirmed the current development in Asaba.

According to the official, “This is the true position; Osuoza is not sacked but redeployed to serve as Commissioner for Special Duties”.

The official did not, however, give any reason for the governor’s action.
