Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has openly criticised individuals who question women about their breastfeeding practices.
In a recent social media post, Amusa expressed her frustration over such intrusive inquiries, stating that whether a mother chooses to nurse, pump, or use formula is a personal decision and should not be subject to public scrutiny.
Reflecting on her own upbringing, Amusa mentioned that she was formula-fed as an infant and believes she “turned out fine,” underscoring that the method of infant feeding does not determine a child’s future well-being.
Her comments have sparked discussions on social media, with many supporting her stance on respecting mothers’ choices regarding infant feeding.
Amusa’s remarks highlight the broader issue of societal pressures faced by mothers and the need for greater understanding and support for diverse parenting decisions.
