Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service, NSC, Alhaji Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, is set to deliver the keynote lecture at the 2025 National Reunion Conference of the Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates’ Association, UNIFEMGA.
The event slated for May 10, has as it theme: “Cross Border Trade and Security Implications on the Nigerian Economy: Taking Advantage of Global Trade Dynamics”.
will take place at the Oduduwa Hall, Obafemi Awolowo, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Chairman of the Planning Committee, Prof. Sirajudeen Obayopo, and Public Relations Officer of the group, Ibrahim Fagbenro, made this known in a statement issued, yesterday.
The statement added that the three-day conference, scheduled to end on Sunday, May 11, 2025, promises a rich array of activities aimed at fostering intellectual discourse, networking, and community engagement.
It would be graced by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as Special Guest of Honour, His Imperial Majesty and the Royal Father of the Day, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II while the Chairman of the occasion is Dr Muritadha Adeyemi Adeniji, Managing Director/CEO, Starling Global and Ideal Limited, with Prof. Adebayo Simeon Bamire, as the Host Vice-Chancellor.
Others expected at the reunion include Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali (SAN), three UNIFEMGA Vice-Chancellors of University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Egbewole (SAN), Prof. Musa Aibinu of Summit University Offa and Prof. Akeem Lasisi of Federal University of Health Sciences, FUHSI, Ila Orangun, among others.
The conference will kick off with a Jumat Service to be led by the Chief Imam, Prof. Abubakar Sanusi, followed by a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of the Institution and networking dinner featuring UNIFEMGA Investors Forum 2.0 on Friday, May 9, to be hosted by Alhaji Rafiu Ebiti, BOT Chairman of UNIFEMGA, and Pro-Chancellor of Summit University Offa.
The event also feature “UNIFEMGA INVESTORS’ FORUM,” modelled after the popular TV show “Dragons’ Den,” offering entrepreneurs a platform to pitch their businesses to potential investors.
The reunion activities will also include a welcome reception for all delegates, student picnic, presentation of scholarship grants, AGM, Students empowerment programme, keep-fit exercises, and novelty matches among branches.
Over 300 delegates, including those from the Diaspora, have registered for the upcoming conference which promises to be a convergence of eminent personalities.
