In a significant move to improve healthcare delivery in Bauchi State, health system strengthening cluster is collaborating with the media through Integrated Supportive Supervision, ISS.
The partnership aims to enhance the availability and accessibility of quality health services to citizens.
The Programme Manager, Bauchi State Network of Organisations, Shuaibu Kobi explained that the cluster is engaging relevant stakeholders in the health sector to sustain budgetary allocation in the 2025 budget proposal on integrated supportive supervision among other critical factors.
He equally pointed out that the cluster has been conducting advocacy in the areas of budget performance and tracking, improving transparency, accountability and good governance in the state.
Mr Kobi emphasized the importance of the partnership with the media, stating that it would go a long way in addressing the issues in the sector.
The partnership is expected to boost universal health coverage.
He also called on the private sector and stakeholders to provide the necessary support and incentives to invest in service delivery.
Kobi said the partnership is poised to improve optimal healthcare delivery in the state.
