Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria, KACRAN, has commended the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, for promoting peace and unity across Nigeria.

Bello acknowledged the sultan’s pivotal role in bridging a decades-long divide among Nigerian Muslims, fostering unity within the Muslim community.
He commended the sultan for his charismatic leadership in addressing the previous fragmentation of the community, which led to differing dates for Ramadan commencement and Eid celebrations, as well as his efforts in achieving near-universal alignment on these important religious observances.
KACRAN also recognised the Sultan’s success in revitalising Jama’atu Nasrul Islam, establishing it as a leading Islamic organisation in Nigeria and beyond.
He called on other traditional rulers and political leaders to emulate the sultan’s exemplary leadership in fostering peace, understanding, and unity among Nigerians.
