Catholic Bishop Of Lafia Calls On Nigerians To Refrain From Evil Acts

The Catholic Bishop of Lafia Diocese, Most Reverend David Ajang has decried the rising spate of corruption in all spheres of life across the nation, calling on Nigerians to refrain from indulging in such evil acts to allow the country attain its full potentials.

He made the observation while delivering sermon at the Saint Williams Cathedral Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.

Bishop Ajang said dishonesty has eaten deep into the fabrics of the country’s health, education, banking, political, agricultural landscapes among others, thereby compromisnig appreciable progress that would have been achieved from independence to date.

The Catholic Bishop enjoined Christians to be serious and focused on doing the right things as instructed by Jesus Christ to enable them transform the society in general.

Calling on Nigerians to positively contribute their quota by praying for leaders at all levels, security of the country, increased political participation and ending the lingering ASSU strike for the common good of all.
