Bose Ogulu, mother and manager of Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy, has been nominated for Manager of the Year at the 2025 Music Week Awards.
The announcement, made on February 26, 2025, highlights her significant contributions to her son’s international success and the broader music industry.
The Music Week Awards, scheduled for May 8, 2025, at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, celebrate excellence across the global music sector.
Ogulu’s nomination places her alongside esteemed managers such as Alistair Goldsmith, Neil Hughes, and Wes Banton, recognizing her exceptional management talents.
This isn’t Ogulu’s first international accolade; she was honored as Manager of the Year at the 2022 Artist & Manager Awards in London.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and a Master of Arts in Translation from the University of Port Harcourt, underscoring her multifaceted expertise in arts and culture.
