Buhari To Start 10-Day Holiday In London

President Muhammadu Buhari will begin a 10 working days holiday in London from August 3, 2018.

This was made known by a Personal Assistant to Mr President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad on Wednesday on his Twitter handle.


Bashir tweeted: “President Buhari begins a 10 working days holiday from August 3, 2018.

In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the President of the Senate, and the Speaker, House of Representatives to that effect.

The last time President Buhari was in London was in May this year in what presidency called ‘technical stopover’ on the president’s way back from the United States of America after a meeting with President Donald Trump.

The President has his doctors who he has been consulting for years based in London. Buhari, in 2017, spent months in the British capital attending to his health. He had, on arrival after one of such medical trips, said he had never been that sick in his life.
