Tonobok Okowa has been re-elected as President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN). The election took place on Thursday in Abuja, reaffirming his leadership at the helm of the country’s athletics governing body.
Okowa, who previously served as AFN President, will now continue in the role as the federation works to strengthen its domestic and international standing in athletics.
His re-election is seen as a vote of confidence in his leadership and the progress recorded during his last tenure.
Okowa who scored 42 votes emerge winners of the election in Abuja.
