Benue Juice Factory To Begin Operations, Sources Materials From Farmers – BIPC MD

Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC Ltd has disclosed that its juice factory will commence operations on the first of July 2025.

Group Managing Director of the company, Dr Raymond Asemakaha announced this in Makurdi after conducting round a team from SONO Group Limited who were in the state for a technical assessment of the newly installed juice and concentrate processing facility.

Dr Asemakaha explained that while the concentrate factory is to resume production next month, full scale juice production will be launched in September.

He described the factory as a corner of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration drive for industrial revival, agricultural value addition and sustainable job creation.

The Group Managing Director of BIPC also called on local mango and orange orchard farmers in the state to scale up production, noting that the company will begin buck buying directly from them in September.

Team leader and Managing Director of SONO Group Limited, Frank Runge accompanied by Secretary of the company Johnny Kritzinger after inspection, expressed satisfaction with the facilities readiness and pledged the company’s technical support for smooth operations and maintenance.

On his part Maintenance Officer of BIPC, Engineer Boager who led the delegation said the plant is fully equipped to handle production of about 62,000 litres of juice and concentrate per hour and called on Benue people particularly orange and mango orchard farmers to take advantage of the facility to improve their standard of living.
