APC Youths Not Vectors Of Violence, But Political Innovators – Gov Sule

The Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, has reaffirmed his confidence in the youths of Nigeria, particularly the youth wing of the APC, when he described them as champions of innovation in politics.

Governor Sule made the assertion at the APC Young Leaders Summit holding at the International Conference Center in Abuja, where he asserted that; “the APC Young Leaders Summit is timely, relevant and an important gathering, because it sends a strong and clear message to the rest of Nigeria, that the youths of APC are not vectors of violence, but champions of innovation in politics and governance!”

Governor Sule, who was represented by the Director General, Strategic Communication Yakubu Lamai, also added that as a political party, ‘APC believes that youths constitute the most significant subcategory of growth in Nigeria’ and that is the reason why in Nasarawa State, Engr A.A. Sule has made structures of governance completely accessible to youths and mainstreamed youths into governance by appointing 39 youths into key positions including a 29-year commissioner.

He challenged the APC youths not to shy away from responsibilities, but that they must come to terms with the fact that the playbook of political power and participation in Nigeria, can no longer remain the same, as the country’s population continues to grow so rapidly.

Engr Sule thereafter called on the APC youths to take their rightful place within the political and governance space of Nigeria through robust and impactful, progressive roles that can positively shape the destiny of our nationAljazirahNigeria revealed that during the proceedings of the APC Young Leaders Summit, the APC Youth Leader, Hon Dayo Israel described His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule as a model for youth inclusion in governance and a champion of youth development.
