Ahead of the Saturday, November 8, 2025 , Anambra State gubernatorial election, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has charged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure the conduct of a free and fair election.
National Chairman of the party, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu made the charge yesterday at the party’s National headquarters , Abuja, while presenting the party’s Certificate of return and flag to it’s Anambra State gubernatorial candidate, Mr, John Chuma Nwosu
Nwosu who decried the politics of state capture by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, urged the president to allow the people’s votes to count.
He stated. ” I want to appeal to Mr President, let’s change the narrative, allow free and fair election after the party primary election, allow them to express free and fair election. Allow the peoples vote to count, after the bye-elections , Anambra election and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, area council elections.
“We are going to run this election in principle, all party members will make their input and we will win”.
Nwosu who criticized Tinubu’s economic and financial policies as manipulative and worrisome advised the president to allow the Central Bank of Nigeria to be fully independent.

Speaking , the party’s Anambra State gubernatorial candidate, Mr John Nwosu said he was in the race to provide an alternative to the incumbent and transform the .State.
” Now is the time to come together for the good of all , most especially for the the good of Ndi Anambra. Today ,the people of Anambra State have a credible alternative to the incumbent”.
