Jude Okoye, former manager of the defunct music group P-Square, has been granted bail in the sum of ₦100 million by the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Okoye on charges of money laundering involving ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
Justice Alexander Owoeye, presiding over the case, set the bail conditions requiring two sureties in like sum.
One surety must own landed property within the court’s jurisdiction, and Okoye is prohibited from traveling outside Nigeria without court approval.
He will remain in custody until he meets the bail requirements.
The trial is scheduled to commence on April 14, 2025.
