Alia Charges New Sanitation Authority Boss To Use Her Creativity, Expertise To Reposition Agency

Governor Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Nashima Jennifer as the Acting General Manager of Benue State Environmental Sanitation Authority, BENSESA.

The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, released to journalists yesterday in Makurdi, further revealed that the new G/M BENSESA,Nashima Jennifer, a seasoned waste management consultant and expert, holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Benue State University.

According to the statement,the new acting General Manager BENSESA, a member of the Nigeria Environmental Society and the Waste Management Society of Nigeria,also holds professional certifications in Solid Waste and Environment Management.

The governor in the statement expressed optimism that her expertise the solid waste and environment management would drive further advancements in Benue State’s environmental sanitation efforts under the current administration.

He also expressed the believe that as one who is creative, innovative, and productive,the new BENSESA boss would fit into her new role to resuscitate, reposition, and effectively manage the agency for effective waste management delivery.

While congratulating the new acting General Manager, BENSESA on her new role,the governor charged her to always put the interest of the state first in her new assignment, adding that the appointment takes immediate effect.
